Members Overview

What is TelaDoc?
TelaDoc is a network of licensed, primary care physicians that provides its members with around-the-clock access to telephone medical consults. TelaDoc physicians evaluate and diagnose most minor medical problems and, when appropriate, prescribe medications. Members can reach a consulting physician from their home, office, hotel room, or on the road – 24/7/365. Accessing medical treatment is easy and affordable.
When individuals register for membership in TelaDoc, they provide information that builds their own unique electronic medical record (EMR), which the consulting physicians utilize during medical consultations. All TelaDoc services maintain patient confidentiality and conform to HIPAA guidelines.
How did TelaDoc get my information?
Your organization submitted a file to TelaDoc so you could be registered automatically. You should have received a packet from your benefits coordinator or HR department explaining the service. TelaDoc is not a telemarketer, and we will not share your information with other companies.
Consult Reminders:
- Only registered members aged 12 and older can request consults from a TelaDoc physician.
- You must disable anonymous call blocker in order to receive calls from a TelaDoc physician. (Dial *87 or contact your service provider for details.)
- The physician will make 3 attempts to reach you. If you do not answer by the third attempt, your consult will be canceled.
