- Patient needs an acute or convenience prescription
When is a Telephone Medical Consult Not Appropriate?
- PATIENT IS UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE
- Patient has a serious, severe medical problem
- Medical problem is complicated or critical
- Patient requests narcotics, long term, lifestyle or DEA controlled drugs
