Teladoc Appoints Jeff Nadler Chief Technology Officer

Teladoc, the nation’s leading telehealth company, today announced the appointment of Jeff Nadler to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as part of the expansion of its senior management team. Formerly CTO at Aetna’s ActiveHealth Management, Nadler brings impressive credentials as a senior executive with 20+ years of managing the architecture, design and delivery of information technology projects.

“We are pleased to welcome Jeff to the Teladoc executive team, a dynamic group of experienced professionals that is leading our exceptional corporate growth,” says Jason Gorevic, Chief Executive Officer of Teladoc. “Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a significant breadth of industry knowledge within the health care, financial services and insurance industry sectors. As CTO at ActiveHealth, he powered the company’s initiatives toward eliminating gaps in care and was instrumental in the development of value-based benefit design strategies. Jeff excels at developing custom enterprise application platforms with proven scalability, performance, and reliability.”

As Senior Vice President, Enterprise Technology Group, at Marsh and McLennan Companies and Senior Engagement Manager at Cambridge Technology Partners, Nadler developed specialized skill sets that will be valuable to the growth of Teladoc. Previously, he was CEO and founder of a corporation that specialized in text retrieval software and related products and services. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Union College in Schenectady, N.Y.

Nadler’s appointment is the latest in Teladoc’s expansion efforts, which are expected to accelerate adoption of the Teladoc services model — in which patients have access to physician consultations and care 24/7/365 — among health plans, employers, unions, and channel partners.

Gorevic concludes, “Jeff has demonstrated exceptional leadership and shares our commitment to expanding healthcare consumers’ access to quality care and driving savings for organizations that are struggling to identify solutions for today’s healthcare challenges. He will play a pivotal role in helping Teladoc define the telehealth marketplace and enable a healthy and productive American workforce.”
