UPDATED: Teladoc Provides Free Health Visits to Those in Hurricane Harvey Evacuation Areas

Teladoc expands available services with free online counseling for up to 3 months for those for those located in areas impacted by Hurricane Harvey

PURCHASE, NY, September 5, 2017Teladoc, Inc. (NYSE: TDOC), is providing free general medical care to victims of Hurricane Harvey. Residents who have been displaced by or are otherwise impacted by the storm can access treatment for many non-emergency illnesses by calling 855-220-4585. “As hundreds of thousands of Americans are facing a time of need, Teladoc is working to make sure that they can count on readily available access to high quality care, 24/7. Our call center reps and board certified and state-licensed physicians are standing by to help those families who have been displaced from their doctors and regular routines, but who still need non-emergency medical care,” explained Lewis Levy, MD, chief medical officer, Teladoc.
