Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a family practice physician from central Oklahoma. I did my family practice residency in St. Louis, Missouri and opened a solo clinic in Midwest City upon graduation from residency in 2001. The practice quickly grew in size and I was able to build my own office building in 2006. I have a 10-year-old daughter who is an equestrian. We love to travel and we are both studying French. I love to needlepoint and read in my spare time.

What is it that interested you in telehealth?

Telehealth lets me expand my career while working around my daughter’s schedule.

What is your specialty and what made you choose it?

My specialty is family medicine. I like the personal relationship I’ve developed with my patients. Many of my patients have been with me 10-15 years and often they are related to or work with my other patients. I love the variety of medical problems I encounter and enjoy working with different ages from children all the way through to geriatrics.

Where did you go to school?

Undergrad: Mercer University, Macon, Georgia, BS Biology
Med School: Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri and Cedar Hill Family Medicine, Cedar Hill, Missouri
Residency: Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine

What is your favorite slogan?

“Change what you can, let go of what you can’t, and be smart enough to tell the difference.” ~ Serenity Prayer
